Born in Niigata Prefecture (Japan) in 1988, MINA FUJII made a stage debut with the musical "Champeau no mori de nemuru" in 1998 at the age of 10. A year later, she performed in the musical "Scrooge" for which she garnered the role through a very competitive audition process.
Her breakthrough was in 2005, with the witty "Intel (Cactus Version)" TV commercial which was nominated for "The Best TV Commercial Award" in the same year.
In 2006, she starred in the film "Simsons" playing the role of the high school girl who aims for going to the Olympics as a member of Japanese women's curling team.
That same summer she was chosen as the official ambassador for "JVC's Koshien (high school baseball national tournament) poster" campaign which is widely known as a gateway to stardom in Japanese entertainment business.
